At 12:00pm CDT (5:00pm UTC) on Monday, August 24, 2026, we snapshotted the stats of every active ETH vouch: duration, mutual-vouch status, and score impact. That snapshot is your safety net. Unvouch to free your ETH for the auction, and your history is held for you — recoverable if you re-vouch in $WHUF.
Nothing about this is required. If you don't unvouch, your vouches and your score are completely untouched.
How to keep your history
Unvouch the ETH you want to use in the auction
Bid in the auction (September 1–4)
Re-vouch the same people in $WHUF within 30 days of TGE (by October 8, 2026)
The re-vouch amount is up to you — it does not have to match your original ETH vouch. What restores the history is renewing the relationship, not the size of the stake.
Re-vouch a person within the window and everything you built with them carries over: vouch duration, mutual-vouch record, and the score impact that history had earned. Restoration is per relationship — you keep the history for the people you re-vouch.
The deadlines
Two dates matter if you unvouch under the snapshot:
September 8 (TGE): if you end up holding no $WHUF from the sale, the snapshot releases and your unvouch becomes what unvouching has always been — permanent. This is no worse than a normal unvouch; the snapshot was a recovery option you chose not to use.
October 8 (30 days after TGE): if you do hold $WHUF, this is the deadline to re-vouch. Any snapshotted relationships you haven't re-vouched by then are released permanently.
One action, two benefits
Vouching your $WHUF within 30 days of TGE is also what activates your price guarantee (85–90% of purchase price, redeemable for 12 months). Re-vouching your people restores your history and activates the guarantee on those tokens in the same step.
Common questions
I'm not participating in the auction. Does anything change for me?
No. Your ETH vouches keep counting toward credibility scores exactly as before. The snapshot only matters if you choose to unvouch.
Does my unvouch signal distrust to the person I vouched?
No — snapshot-window unvouches are [marked healthy / labeled as auction-related — confirm with eng]. Everyone can see the transition is happening.
Can I re-vouch with $WHUF I didn't buy in the auction?
Re-vouching requires holding $WHUF at the deadline. In practice, the auction is the only way to hold $WHUF within the window, since tokens unlock October 8.
What if I only re-vouch some of the people I unvouched?
