Vouching is Ethos' core mechanic: staking tokens in another person's profile as a signal that you trust them. For sale participants, it is also how you activate the price guarantee.
How to vouch
Go to app.ethos.network and open the profile of a person you trust.
Select Vouch and choose the amount of $WHUF to stake.
Confirm the transaction from your sale wallet (your Original Wallet Address).
You can vouch for multiple people, splitting your tokens across profiles. The guarantee covers whatever portion of your purchased tokens is vouched during the 30-day window.
Choose carefully
Vouches cannot be transferred from one person to another. If you vouch someone and later change your mind, your only option is to unvouch, which permanently forfeits the guarantee on those tokens. Vouch for people you genuinely trust for the long term.
What you earn
Vouched tokens earn contributor rewards: $WHUF emitted by the protocol to active vouchers. Your tokens work while they're protected.
